I more of wanted something that I can rely on to take my long ways and won't need to worry about. The XJ if stock will do good enough for me and I need the room

Alright, well today I almost finished up the fender cut. Just have to paint the passenger side. MCEs got held back a little bit. Girlfriend's bday is tomorrow and I should buy a present before I get MCE's

It's nice to see another emerald green pearl owner!

RE: 4.0L TB.. I did this about 1.5 years ago with the 4.0L intake hose.. If you decide to do the swap, just be sure to swap all the sensors from the 2.5L TB to the 4.0L TB (even though they appear to be identical).. They are not. You will need a set of safety torx bits to remove the sensors (should have a cheap set at HF).. Be sure to swap the old for new sensor gaskets and TB gasket while you're at it. (cheap insurance against a leak)

Now, the difference is MINIMAL and IMHO not worth it if you can't get parts cheap.. BUT if you choose to do it, help it out a little more with an electric fan conversion and a more free flowing exhaust (only if the stocker needs replacing).. At the end of the day though, it's still a 4 cylinder... Don't expect much from it. Gears are a better place to put your $$, for sure.

I run 4:88 gears on my TJ and have run 32's, 33's and 35's very respectably with the setup (5th is usable with all tire sizes!)

For a lot of highway driving i do not recommend the 32's as the RPMs are a little high for long distances... They are, again IMHO, the best gear ratio if you plan on changing tire sizes a few times without having to regear.. It definitely makes the 4 cylinder bearable!

^Thats a helluva find as long as they are not torn to shreds or grenaded. The regearing itself makes it worth it though...

Enjoying this build... Keep it up!
