Well the lights turned out to be pretty disappointing... Not nearly as bright as they seemed they would be. But I think they will come in handy when I'm possibly sneaking around and don't want to be seen. I can turn on them and avoid turning on my huge headlights and blinkers. They look sweet too.

I bought some flux core wire today since i wasn't using any shielding gas. I tried to mess around but kept jamming the machine and I'm not completely sure why?

Thats what it looks like. Is that because I touched the tip to the metal?

I wanna do a one inch body lift but was wondering what other adjustments would have to be made after the body lift. I have a 4" suspensionright now

i run a 1bl with a 4'' lift. i had to beat the plate in the floor that covers the tcase back so it would shift all the way. other than that i think that was it.. do u have slip yoke or sye?

also on your welder, was the feeder pulling wire but nothing coming out? i have a sp125 plus, not to much different, and sometimes i have to take off the gas diffuser in the gun out for the wire to feed through cause it catches every now and then.. just a thought good luck bro keep at the welding im self taught and i could probably do it for a living now

Scrape off the tip with a wire brush to remove any slag covering the hole of the feeder.

yeah it was feeding but im not using gas if that matters....still trying to understand all this  . But thanks, im determined to get good at it

What tip are you running? Is it the same size as ur wire? Take apart the gun and check it out its pretty simple. Or go to lincoln online and down loaf the user manual. Gives u specs, part numbers, maint..

Found it in the trash yesterday.... Anyone know what that would sell for? 63000 miles, batterys dead and not sure what else is wrong... Would be for parts most likely. It's a Honda V45

I've also been messing around with my welder. Seems like the reason for all the jamming was the dirty tip combined with me not being able to see with my crappy old mask. So now its a lot more enjoyable. Made some little people. First one was for my girlfriend(I added hair later), second one is a guy on the pot reading the newspaper(saw it on JF somewhere)
