I meant to buy some grab handles for this weekend but didn't feel like dishing out $30 at the time. So I decided to make my own. Came out pretty good for a 15min job.

I found a handlebar from an old bike sitting around and decided that would work better than pvc pipe

Cut each end off where the bar was straight. About 6" each.

Sprayed them flat black

Then tied them on with some black rope

I've always liked the look of the hood mounted Hi lift and started browsing the mounts available. I decided to make my own...cost me able $15.
Some angled steel, Grade 8 bolts and some nuts.

In the near future I'm going to drill out another hole in one of the mounts and put a lock through the hole and the hi lift.

Hey nice Jeep!! great job on the light bar!

I've got a couple suggestions

1. Spider red in my opinion

2. In the pic in the first page where you can see your steering and everything, it looks like your drag link and trac bar angles aren't matching very good and it may be because you have a drop pitman arm that comes with most lift kits and they should be parallel. You may not have a problem with your steering now but in the future it's something to think about.

Awesome build!!

I ran one positive wire all the way through the bar as well as a ground wire. I think they are 10gauge( heavier than the rest) because I tapped in each light to the positive and ground behind it. So each light makes a T with the positive and negative wire.

For $125, freaking awesome. Don't get me wrong, they don't hit the lowest stuff, or rattle your mirrors off, but they hit plenty hard enough. Plus, being a Jeep you have a lot less space to fill with sound. I have two friends that loved mine and went and bought the same setup for their jeeps...which i ended up installing....

It involves running round and round and round till you get every spot lol trust me you get very dizzy but it is well worth it they look amazing when they are done. Only thing I would tell you to do is if you do wind up soing the springs is do them in a brighter color so they stick out alot more.
