Ok Its Official! Crystal Granite "Mild" Hard Rock Build

I hope maybe some of you guys saw a few of my other JK's including the last two 2dr JK's I made into half cabs. Now it's time to start a new one. Ordered up a Rubi Hard Rock and it came about a week or two ago. '15 was what I called the year of the Willys. I rebuilt a 47' cj2a. Needed everything but body. That was solid. Now it's done. Got a good penny for my Rubi Half Cab 2dr I made , so now its time to get busy with this puppy. A few pics for now until I can decide what to do with this one!
Here she is behind the old girl

Looking forward to seeing what direction you go with this one. Have enjoyed watching ur last two JK builds. Also have been able to see options I was contemplating and get ideas. Congratulations on your new project.

Added the 35" BFG AT ko2s on AEV Pintlers.

Installed the 2" Mopar lift with front shaft.

Installed the Mopar High Top fenders.

Ok, so the Mopar hi top flares are looking better now that the new lift is settling in. I'm actually happy with them now! Absolutely love the Mopar lift. Rides great. My last AEV wasn't that impressive.

What's your opinion of the High Top flares? Initial feedback I saw from early adopters and a few dealers was that they didn't meet expectations. If I keep my JK, this is something I'm going back and forth on and another data point would be valuable.

I like em!! A lot. Guys look at the and can't figure out the different stance but I'm getting all great feedback when they see them in person. I have to get better pics. Maybe tonight on level ground.
They are made by bushwacker and the quality is no different than the flat flares I had of there's. The fronts are double walled and I thought installation was easy. But then again I did mount a bunch of bushwacker flares. I would recommend them.

Thanks for the feedback. There aren't a lot of examples I've seen of the 2 door with these flares. Looking forward to more pics! I'm especially curious to see the width with respect to the AEV rims.

Hasn't taken you long to get at it, like it so far. Still not sure about the high mount fenders though, they just look "off" somewhat. Isn't the Mopar 2" made by Teraflex?

Can you post or PM me more pictures of your Jeep? I've got a stock 4 door and trying to decide these fenders or a lift. Like the idea of the fenders better.
