Was my Dad's. First one leaked a giant puddle of oil the first night he brought it home so they gave him a new one. The second one also leaked and they eventually had to tear the motor apart to fix it, ended up being a lemon. I don't recall him having any of the other common issues.

He's got an 08 now and it's been flawless, It would be alot nicer without the DPF though.

Well I have a buyer for my current wheels and tires. I think I am going to switch to 37 12.5 17 MTRs on some steel wheels. I just don't like how wide it is with 15x10 wheels, wide *** tires plus the spacers. Hopefully the Dana 30 lasts for the summer

I say go for it.

Krawlers are HEAVY. The GY's are lighter for sure…not saying that'll keep the 30 alive…just saying.

My buddy just sent me this pic from his shop. R&P are in! How long do you guys break in gears before you go wheeling? Last time I did 200 miles, but I want to wheel this weekend.

I went wheelin immediately The install guy wasn't crazy about it but figured I would be going slow so it was okay. That was 8 months ago and so far so good.

Did the warranty apply/pay for the parts and labor?

Most of it. ECGS gave me the parts for free and $150 toward install. Heartland did the install for $300, seemed reasonable.

Went wheeling this weekend at an easier place. My buddy just got over cancer and he drove my heep all day. First time in a Jeep and I think he is hooked.

New tow rig is soooo much better.

Couple pics

Only carnage all day was this cool little Willys flopped
