Welll..... Destroyed the HP 30 today.

8 teeth off the ring, probably pinion as well. I thought the HP 30 had a stronger gear set. Had to pull apart the front end remove the carrier,then remove the ring to get it off the trail. Long day, I will post pics later. Figuring at this point get it fixed and sell everything to fund an upgrade

Damn. That's a major bummer. I watched the video, and I'm just really surprised how easy that blew up. You're running a full case Detroit up front right? Did you set up the gears yourself?

Yeah Full Case Detroit, the gears were set up by ECGS. I am a little surprised as well

Amen. Never leave without that 18v cordless Dewalt. Granted, I'm looking at their 8.8 warranty, but its possible that ECGS might replace the HP30 R&P for free. Might want to give them a call.
