I have tried that damn square rock a few times now. Finally made it with a few dents and scrapes on the front end. Not saying it was all becuase of the weight savings (over 400lbs in total now) but every ledge and climb went much smooter yesterday

Jeep sure has come along quickly! Good to see you out wheeling after the big changes.

Any photos of the WJ carnage? You piqued my interest.

Only this:

It was the 4th time he had lost a bead, so we got that fixed and then realized his tires faced \ / No good. Kind of went into fix it mode after that. Snowing 20 degrees and no access roads. Plus he had his three kids with him.

Here is the WJ earlier in the day. He thought the locker was broken, but we are figuring the axle snapped early

Woah. I think at that point, with that sound, I would have stopped trying and called it a day.

I think it was his power steering pump, but it sounded like that all day.

I pulled the old cable winch line off last night so I could put on the Viking Synthetic. Does anyone know if I can use my Steel Hawse Fairlead for Synthetic line? It does not have any real rough areas, and i would sand it and paint it before using. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Got the new to me line put on last night. Much easier on the hands and much lighter than the cable.

Been going over the numbers tonight, and stuck with where I want to go with my build...

Torn between RCVs, rear 4 link, new Rocker Radials or just buying a trailer.

all will cost about the same, so any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated

Went back to Wa****a this Saturday for a quick trail run. Traded the day on the trails with an agreement to paint all next weekend for my wife. Drove down in the rain, and then it was 60 degrees and sunny the rest of the day, perfect. I led the trails, so not many pics of my rig. LJ rubi smashed in the rear driver corner, and the JK smashed a door, his hard top, rear driver panel and ripped off a rear flare. (oops) The Savvy tub rails saved the side of my heep from a similar fate, they worked flawlessly with the enitre wight of the Jeep on them. Anyways, here are pics-
