Hey all thanks for checking out the build placed the order for my 2013 2 door Rubicon in crush orange on 1/5th and got it last night from the dealer purchased the extended warranty which will cover the rig bumper to bumper for 6 years/70k miles as long as I install which ever lift I want at the dealer.. kinda stinks to pay the dealer rate but for 6 years everything is covered that came with the jeep is pretty sweet. here are the first pics of her that I took this morning. have to order my custom plates "NO PULP" from the dmv still

Good color, good name, I assume it means base model, no options, no frills? What are the future plans?

mogo116 01-10-2013 01:25 PM

well i know it isnt anything major but I want to try and document everything I do to the jeep well here goes 3 weeks of owning i bought the quadratec floor matts for the front rear and cargo area, note on the 13' models these matts needed to be trimmed more for the cargo area or the seat does not fold down all the way and lock, also got a set of entry guards to try and keep the paint nice and to date i have alil over 800 miles

So what's your build plans for this Jeep?

mogo116 01-26-2013 08:46 AM

I want to run a lcg set up and probably 37s its going to be a daily driver and a weekend warrior but I have to watch I dont want to void my warranty right off the bat the dealer said I can run a 4 " lift as long as they instal it sucks they charge 104 an hr but atleast I wont void anything I want to change bumpers fenders asap as well as get a summer top not sure how soon the lift will be purchased and installed but we will get there

BRay 01-26-2013 09:00 AM

I sold my well built TJ and bought a new 2012 2dr Rubi and building it the way i want to is going to take some time. I to want to change both bumpers, rocker rails and the wheel flares and eventually tires and lift will be installed. I know what you mean when you say it will eventually get there.

mogo116 01-26-2013 09:13 AM

Exactly especially from a tj to a jk like me as well did you notice how much more expensive everything got lol but I do also want an oba system the spod stuff I want a lot just gonna take time with my tj I was single not paying much rent now I'm married a lot changes lol it all slows down

I can not see 37" and 4" as being LCG? 37 on a no lift sure maybe a 2.5 spring on 37" is a LCG kinda. No way you are going to get into a 4" inch on a 2d with out changing alot, to do it right, no matter what the dealer thinks they know.

Unless this is for "looks" then you can get cheep on 37"s. If this jeep is going too see REAL wheel time. This is going to be one very exepensive build if the dealer is doing it all

mogo116 01-26-2013 05:51 PM

http://www.teraflex.biz/jk-lcg-preru...uspension.html that kit sits ruffly at 4" of lift it says it clears 35s im sure once I put different flares and cut some pinch welds the 37s will fit and.yes will cost alot but im in no rush thats why I said it will take awhile still considering the rk long arm lift as well and.sure it will cost more at the dealer but I dont want my 38k rubicon to be out of warranty when I still have to pay it off for 5 years
