Thought about it, but it will turn out TOO Rugged... (in my opinion)...

Bumpers / Sliders / Some smaller detail will be in bedliner, but in one thats closer to powdercoat look, rather then the one thats on grill & fenders...

Lol anytime! Yeah i'd like to expand my knowledge on Jeep's so it's nice to see another Jeeper in the area.

Everytime i've wanted to go to a meeting I've had work... go figure. When is the next meeting?

Ah very nice! I'm at the north end of Keizer.

Welp, looks like I missed the last one. I can always shoot for the June meeting.

We need to see some more exterior shots of the LJ

Currie lift

Lift finally arrived... it has take exactly 58 days... and as of today (Memorial Day weekend) my steering dampner has YET to arrive...

besides that... I am pretty pleased with components & quality of workmanship.

front is done... not onto the rear...

rear spring braket relocation

really liked the idea of others doing this...

figured that since I've got everything down, and dont really want to have to drop the axle down again, etc. to do all this later - now is the TIME...

From 2011-05-21 LJ Currie Lift

this task is definitely not for the "weak-at-heart... & not sure what I am doing here"...

always considered myself a go-getter/get 'er done... but these brackets were not an easy task, especially getting the back (inners) cut nicely... just time consuming...

From 2011-05-21 LJ Currie Lift

so if you like things to be done quick and dont have much time... dont do it then... wait until you are acknowledging the extent of the work load...

but the fruit of the labor is great...

test-drive

couldn't wait to get the Jeep out to the "woods" and see what it is capable of the way it was setup as of now...

Oregon offers a lot of great places... so here are some shots...

From 2011-05-28 Detroit & Elk Lake LJ

had to find a place to test out the lockers & dig it deep enough to center out on axles...

From 2011-05-28 Detroit & Elk Lake LJ

got some video... but will have to wait out to edit it for this site...

other then that...

From 2011-05-28 Detroit & Elk Lake LJ

anyone care to see the video as it was done for my blog in Russia...
bunch of parts are at 8x speeds (highway/nothing special/etc.).

FYI: All these are OPEN back roads & yes, those are creeks due to melting snow, which disappear in the summer...
