LoD xpedition rear bumper with tire carrier installed. I'm extremely happy with this bumper. It is great quality, very sturdy, and doesn't make a sound. Install wasn't very difficult, although the two backing plates that you have to try and hold behind your cross member and then thread two bolts through was a real PITA. Other than that great product. It comes powder coated and it was packaged as if it was going to be air dropped by a fly by A/C-130. I roughed up the face of the bumper only and primed and painted it to match all the other bedliner.

Just got back from the Overland Expo at Mormon Lake, AZ. It was pretty cool, full of very capable, very cool rigs. Jeeps were definitely the minority though. After that went and checked out the Grand Canyon and cruised around on some of the back roads on the reservation land. Overall good trip

Attached this little guy today. Nice piece of gear actually. I was surprised at how tough the pouches and tailgate piece are. I did the overhead one too just forgot the photos. I'll add em tomorrow.

Nice! I'm seriously considering getting one of those tailgate setups. What brand is that?

Bob's boring build:

It the Smittybilt GEAR tailgate organizer. It's a lot higher quality than I anticipated.

And this is the overhead unit. Lots of good pouches and a solid metal frame. Would be good to do an overhead HAM when I get it.

So I was curious how hot is too hot for the little 2.5l. Since I couldn't find really any info I took a cruise out to Anza Borrego, 103 degrees. Drove around on various trails for about 5 hours. Rarely went into 4wd and kept the rpms between 1 and 2k and averaged about 5-10mph. Temped stayed just below 210 the entire time.

Went to Big Bear for the weekend with the wife. Cruised some nice pretty easy trails but still fun with great views. Found a great campsite, all in all a good time.

Very nice, what trails did you end up doing? The second pic is awesome. I forgot to mention I found that Wells book at the Lucerne Valley Market just down the road from Big Bear for either $19 or $29 I believe it was.
