Canyon Sin Nombre

Thanks for all the compliments guys, just wait until she grows up! Well I headed out to the desert today (black Friday) and did some wheelin for the first time in the ol albino squirrel and learned a thing or two about the capabilities of this little jeep. Sorry for the poser pics but most of the would be action shots I was white knuckling the steering wheel!

Sometimes mellow is good, hehe. I'm thinking of planning a few day trip down there when I finish my trailer. Looks like lots of good exploring to do.

I promise guys I'll break away from the cosmetics soon enough but effing Craigslist is like crack. Got some rubicon flares for 40 bucks. Sanding, priming, painting w/ bedliner as your reading.

Thanks bob. Yeah the tan spice combo is easily my favorite with a lot of the tj colors. Even my 01 xj was white with tan interior. Ha, trouble is going to be the up keep over the years as those colors die out.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between Rubicon and normal flares? Width? Nice Jeep though, I love white vehicles so much

Rubi/Sahara flares are 1" wider

I think they're perfect width, idk how people live with not having the rear tires covered...they throw so much water & mud inside the jeep even with just the windows down

yup, they look just a tad more aggressive IMO too. I'm excited to slap em on, but what I'm really hoping for, is for the amount of coverage they're going to give over my tires, to drive me nuts because I'm used to seeing my tires pop out a little bit and force me to hurry along my suspension upgrades so I can run a bigger tire!
