welcome xj brother. nice build.
i'd recommend hooking up with one of your local jeep clubs and seeing if you can go on a trail run with them. once you catch the jeep fever and get over this sellin it thing, come back and we'll talk more about what you've got there.

sounds like you need to get back in your lowered car... heh if you really drive a jeep you would not sell it for cash, you would trade it for another. :-)

i originally wanted a wrangler just so i could drive top off, doors off but i came across this XJ with all of these mods on it plus an extra set of 33X12.5X15 with **** cepek rims.

All this jeep needed was an alignment and some track bar help

its funny, i was actually on my way to philly to pick up a 1986 300zx turbo coupe with 80k orig miles and on my way i saw this jeep and loved it...

He wanted $2,000, i had $1,800 in my pocket and i offered him $1,000 and i took it home that night for $1,000.

I drove it home on the turnpike about 1 and 1/2 hours with no front shocks, blown steering stabilizer, horrible alignment (walking all over the road) and i had never driven anything this big before lol.

But i have $70 into the jeep for new shocks and steering stabilizer and did a back yard alignment myself just to get by until i get new tires, then ill get a proper alignment

Sounded like a pretty good deal to me

if it aint stolen, you picked up a heck of a deal.
$70 for new rough country shocks and steer stabilizer aint bad either.

Yes that sounds like a great deal. If you ever do sell it (to buy another jeep) I would guess you'll come out ahead, by a long shot

yea the only jeep shop i know of is an hour away from my house, i needed these parts bad and he said the only thing they had in stock was some high performance shocks that would run me $109 for the pair and $30 for the steering stabilizer. I agreed (but not happy) and he went back to get them, came back with 2 brand new rough country shocks that didnt have the top shock mount and said 20 bucks a piece.

Im cool with that....... haha
