New to jeeps!!

I recently was given a jeep by my parents. They had purchased it from a friend and it's been sitting on the property pretty much rotting.. It's a cool vehicle but I do t know much about it other than what I've seen a few times just checking it out.

It's a 1969 cj-5
Has a Buick v6 and a b&m shifter

I just want to know what to look for and get started on this thing? I haven't been into jeeps before so sourcing parts and knowing the pitfalls of certain years or crossover parts shortcut and cool stuff to do I just don't know. My mechanical history is deep but just haven't had my hands on a jeep yet.

Any tips you guys can help a newb jeep owner getting ready for a frame on restoration?
