Thanks.
I like it. I had it put on the second day I had the Jeep, so I can't really give a comparison. I have a free flowing exhaust and no cat, so it gets a little loud at times, but still not at load as some of my past cars. I'll try to get a video clip for you tomorrow. |

Good looking jeep man, I have a white 93. Got those same quadratec floor mats... they are well worth the $60.

Small update.
I added a hood scoop and tinted the front windows (the back windows are the best top tinted windows). I can feel the difference with the hood scoop even at idol. Well worth the money for me. Blows a lot more air into the cab. The scoop is designed to mount the opposite way, but after some reading on here I found it's best to mount it with the hole facing the window. So, I had to add two notches to clear the windshield cleaner things. It mounts with some sticky tape, but I added four screws just to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. Here are some pics from my Blackberry ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() With the tint, I picked up some "Static-Cling" tint. Kind of like those rubber window stickers you had as a kid. Same thing. I didn't do a great job cutting it, and there may be a few bubbles, but it works for me right now. The best thing, I can take it off and start over anytime I want. I'll work on it again this summer when it's warmer. I used a 20% tint. I think 5% would have been too dark for me. Some pics from my Blackberry ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey man, that's a really nice YJ. It just looks "right" and isn't all over done with tons of widgets and doodads and crap and there's the right amount of space in the wheelwells. Plus it's nice to see a YJ that isn't all rusted out like so many are around me. My 95' was getting pretty rusty when I had it in 2000.

I'm just about done with it as far as "looks" go. About the only thing I'll add that sticks out is a winch and maybe a cooler rack on the back...maybe. Still thinking about that one.I'm pretty lucky though. Montana dose not use salt in my area, so it's held up pretty well over the years before I bought it. Before it got really cold this year, I did clean the crap out of the under carriage then sprayed it and the frame with a 3M rubber spray. I have a little rust bubbling up underneath the paint on the windshield frame, but I'll address that this summer. |

Mounted my Hi-Lift today. I used 3" muffler clamps. They wouldn't fit through the bottom of the base. I took it off then bolted in with a wing nut as the pics show. Not the best picks, but you should get the idea. If you need better pics let me know.
Don't have a handle keeper, so I just wrapped a rag around it and tied it down. ![]() This is the top with the base attached with a wing nut. ![]() The bottom without the base. ![]() |

It's not too hard. You can do all the windows if you want. You need to pick up a "Static Cling" tint from Auto Zone or Walmart. Take a look at this link to give you an idea. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f96/tint-your-soft-top-windows-778639/ |

Mounted my CB in place of my ashtray.
![]() ![]() That little red wire is the power. I haven't wired it in yet, as I still need to get an antenna. It's at a slight angle so that it faces me more. You can also tell I went a little happy with the dremel around the head unit. It was so tight, I couldn't get the face off. Figured I have a detachable face, my as well us it. It's a little sloppy, but it's the first time I've used a dremel. ![]() |

Thanks. As for what's next, not much, but a winch is my next planned purchase. Soon after that, hurc the tub, a cooler rack, and extended fender flairs. Eventually axle upgrades with lockers, but that will be a year or two from now. I'd also like a hard top and full steal doors. That would be nice before next winter. ![]() |
