But, nice gain with the tire carrier and larger tires. Throw a 2.5" OME on there and you'd be well set for wheeling. I'm always envious when people buy Jeeps with complete interiors and are aesthetically together. __________________ 1990 Red YJ 2.54 L (Rebuilt) 5 Speed with 94 rollbar | Dynomax Exhaust | Luk Clutch 2.5" Old Man Emu over 31x10.50 BFG MTs on 15x8 AR 767s | 1" Daystar Body Lift Two Tops | Full and Half Doors | KC Daylighters | OME Steering Stabiliser Sony CDX-GT300 | Kicker ZX500.1 | Kicker ZX350.4| Kicker L5 Solobaric Sub | Kicker 6x9's | Boston 4x6's 1976 Hy-Gain II CB with 4' Firestick | Class 3 Hitch |

If you look closely at the tail gate, you'll see a few dents. That is from that heavy 32 haning on the stock mount. My uncle had the tire rack built to stop it from ripping the door off. I'm really excited at the condition is seems to be in. I'm not planning to get too extreme with this Jeep, so a 2.5" OME and some new 32's might be the route I go for right now. I'll just keep searching and researching until I come up with what I want. | |

Green Newbie | Thanks click free!! ![]() She's an Australian Shepherd. ![]() Possible one of the smartest dogs I've ever had. She's an outside dog helping with farm chores while we are gone. From what my mother-in-law tells me she's becoming a great cattle dog. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Shepherd |

I ran the OME kit, and had to buy tires last July. I wanted to put 32's on in the worst way, but decided on the 31's because of backspacing, budget, and clearance. Now with my body lift, I could definitely fit the 32's. __________________ 1990 Red YJ 2.54 L (Rebuilt) 5 Speed with 94 rollbar | Dynomax Exhaust | Luk Clutch 2.5" Old Man Emu over 31x10.50 BFG MTs on 15x8 AR 767s | 1" Daystar Body Lift Two Tops | Full and Half Doors | KC Daylighters | OME Steering Stabiliser Sony CDX-GT300 | Kicker ZX500.1 | Kicker ZX350.4| Kicker L5 Solobaric Sub | Kicker 6x9's | Boston 4x6's 1976 Hy-Gain II CB with 4' Firestick | Class 3 Hitch |

Registered User | Can I borrow your mother in law as My YJ is very messy at the minute. ![]() Really sweet looking YJ there as well, looks like a good project base. I started off with a 2.5 lift & 31's on my old 4 banger, made it a decent wheeling machine although I didnt get around to changing the R&P's so on road speed wasnt very good. Also must say thats a good looking dog, but then I would say that. __________________ 1995 4.0 HO YJ Wrangler (righthand drive)/ 35-12.50 Goodyear MTR's/ Currie 4" lift & 2" bodylift/ fr Dana 30 with Detroit locker- r Ford 8.8 with Detroit locker. 4.88 R&P/ Warn 8000 winch front, EPi9 rear/ Snorkle & some other stuff ;) |

Green Newbie | Thanks again for the click free!!! 43 more to go. ![]() Ordered some new seat covers in black and grey. They even came with a free back seat cover!!!! I'm also looking at upgrading the sounds. I plan to replace the factory 4X6's and I'm thinking about getting a pair of the 6X9 sound wedges. I've searched around and there is little discussion about them. What do you guys think of them? I'd also like to upgrade the h/u to a receiver that controls an ipod, but just can't justify the money for the Alpine units or the Parrot unit (I really like this one). It would be nice to just get an older used ipod, put it in a hard case, tuck it up somewhere and forget about it until I want to update music on it. I think I'll get on of those cheaper models what you can slide a SD card or thumb drive in for now. I'm going to order a center console on pay day, and maybe some rock sliders. I'm also thinking about a set of the Pacesetter headers and a cat-back exhaust system. I was told the exhaust was on its way out, so I figure while I can do it I'll just replace the whole system. I'm gonna get everything I can out of this little 4 banger. I don't think I'll have a real idea of which lift or height I am going to go with until I get it out on some trails in Montana. I'll just keep reading and searching until then. |

Green Newbie | Little update; Ordered a set of Pacesetter headers, 4WD cat back exhaust, and this console That's all the wife would let me buy this payday. Next pay day, I think I'll get an inexpensive cd player off eBay, and a sound bar. I'm also thinking about a marine cover for the cd player. Will these fit on the YJ dash? Something like this ![]() |

Green Newbie | So, the seat covers I ordered where on back order for an undetermined amount of time. I canceled that order and ordered pair of the Smittybilt G.E.A.R. Front Seat Cover in black. I really wanted those to begin with, so I guess it all worked out. I'll just have to find a back seat cover later. Maybe I'll look for something on eBay. |
