Never-ending 88 XJ build

Been on here a few months and have been an active member on CF for several years..thought id show my xj to this forum. Bought it in 09 right after graduating high school. Bone stock. Didn't have the rack or the hellas on it. It is an 88 had roughly 225k on it d 30/35 4.0 np231....pretty basic. Here are pictures after I bought the surco rack and hellas.

Jeep sat like that while I started college and did some research on the xjs offroad rep. Fixed some mechanical issues (new power steering hoses, rebuilt steering column, fixed radiator). Then added some soft 8s.

Next found out that the PO converted the old ac system to 134a....HUGE help. Did some wannabe poser shots on stock suspension sway bars still on. Also painted the grill black.

The PO had painted the jeep with military stealth bomber paint (he was in the air force) and it started fading and peeling. Decided to do a homebrew paint job.
