Thanks. I went with the Alien tank because I don't want to deal with tank / diff interference. Right now I probably could go back another 2.5". This gives me room to grow. I don't have to drive it on the street if I don't want to so the small tank's inconvenience will be a non issue.

Well certainly nice to know you can fit a 14 bolt back there with a ton of stretch should you want to some day. I think I will go with the comp tank personally as I have to drive it to all the trails. I am going to dig back through this build and see how you modified your frame, etc. Thanks!

Crap...lunch is over. I really want to see how you notched your frame and outboarded the shocks, etc. Looks like the track bar bracket is still present. Still running a track bar? Did you do the work and have pics or did Genright do the stretch? I'll be back on later tonight. Thanks!!

Haha... you'll get caught up. Track bar is still present, and I did the work. My method won't be for everyone, but I'm quite happy with the results.

I just ran sledge last month. Very fun trail


I would not run upper sledge or upper upper sledge if I were you hahah

Stretched the frame. Nice. Looks very clean. Did you have to remove most of the body mounts and lift the tub at all for access to weld it all in?

PS: I like how we have "similar" screen names.

Yeah I lifted the tub up a few inches to gain access.

After Sledge, clawhammer and lower Big Johnson would be a let down.
Now Jack or Upper Big Johnson and Aftershock or Sun Bonnet would be another story.

Why do bunny trails after a fun trail, makes no sense.
Seems to me we will stick with the original plan, run through Georgie's Crack, then Hammerdown and Grinder, if Nate picks good lines that should be done in less than 2 hours, then visit the Hammers and see how he fares on Sledge. Then if time permits we can still tackle another one or he can play on the Jackhammer gatekeeper, that's a cool lil diddy

Upper Sledge isn't all that bad, short and somewhat furious, Upper Upper Sledge would be a tall order for white lightning

That CJ is sweet, He according to rumors he spend about 50 G to have it built, cool guy to wheel with though. Imagine after all those Hammer trails he broke it at Cougar Buttes

The white ex Rubicon has been sold about 3 years ago, He has been building and running about in several buggies since
