Pretty sure your Zone control arm bushing barrels don't have C clip grooves or a shouldered side to retain the bushing......

They don't, I haven't looked into it enough yet anyways. I'd like to steer away from bushings all together. I don't drive my Jeep enough to have it be an issue that needs to be addressed right away. I like my rear upper Rokmens, and I may lean towards doing them all around on the Jeep.

Well get those bushings in before the 17th, we will work the flex of that bad boy and see if they are worth a damn.
Just did Jackhammer and Jack North, they will give your Jeep a most excellent work out. My compatriots pretty much winched every hard obstacle , but still had a great time. Going to be a busy day for ya

Anxious to see how you and Art like them out there.....they've got plenty of haters in your neck of the woods.

Personally, I'm a huge fan. Huge NVH absorption, excellent durability so far, and no reason to grease after the initial coating. Getting rid of 14 grease zerks wasn't the worst thing ever.

Well I won't be running a full set so it's kind of a lame evaluation. But for me.... even if the NVH improvement is undetectable, the durability, silence and cleanliness of the joint make them worth every penny.

Guess I should post this in my own thread also. Today I added bracing to my Barnes flat skid plate. After much discussion in Danno's thread I decided to tackle the project. I'm happy with the results and I know that I've definitely improved it's strength. Time will tell if it holds up to my abuse. I think it's going to be fine though. Hopefully this will help anyone looking at the Barnes flat skid... or any flat skid for that matter. Keep in mind this is an AX-5 transmission so those of you with other transmissions will face other (similar) challenges.

I need to pull my skid down, but I believe I used a few pieces of 1x1 square tube. 3/16 thick. Anywhere I did heavy bracing it held up. On small spot I left out took a nice hit.

You shouldn't have any real issues. Good work

Thanks guys, it's definitely a much different skid than it started out as today. I may have to trim the lip of the angle in the front a bit more if it rattles. I've got clearance but we'll see how much the exhaust and tranny move around during operation. Over all I'm pleased with my work today, now I got to do some painting and clean up of my undercarriage from these last 4 wheeling trips!

Streetable trailer queen is where it's at. To me going wheelin week after week with lil or no damage and no carnage to speak of for several years in a row and still have it drive very nice on the street is well worth the label trailer queen. Lets see a Jeep that hasn't been heavily modified do that. Hammers and comparable wheelin is extremely rough on the equipment, have it drive at a pretty good speed through the whoops on the sand highways and do very well on winding mountain roads and the freeways makes mine a pretty good and fun trailer queen. Don't knock it till you try that
