Beautiful day wheeling today. Bits of complete snow, bits of slush, bits of dry. Just enough moisture to make some usually easy obstacles un doable and some a bit more interesting. Jeep did well, and I conquered an obstacle that's been on my list for a while that I tried pre-stretch and was very sketchy. I decided at the last second to even try it so I didn't get any video or photos.... But here is another guy running the same line in a toyota. Lot's of rolls happen on this hill going the EASY way.... witch is to the right of the rock in the center.

50 foot waterfall....

The obstacle I conquered today... I was SUPER pumped!

A little note on that waterfall... you see that log at the very bottom? Well my buddy said "what if you were at the bottom on that log and had to climb up".

My son absolutely terrified climbing out on the log for a photo op.... click it's a video...

The hike down to it wasn't bad.... but the hike up nearly kicked our asses. It was some good memories though.

Yeah my jeep needs some loving, got some major paint touch up to do also after sliding around on a few things. Good times though.

It was hilarious, after we hiked up he actually sincerely thanked me for helping him make the hike. Haha!

I'm lucky to have this spot, this close to home. It actually covers about 15 miles of trail, which is quite a bit. Yesterday was the first time I recorded mileage. And there are other spurs we didn't even take. I hope to get all you guys on these trails next year.

Those are some great pics Nate, your jeep looks amazing from the side profile...the stretch is perfect. When are you starting to play with your 8.8?

Yeah it was fun, and amazing how much a little water and dirt makes things so much harder.

Thanks man! 8.8 isn't scheduled until around March of next year. Unless I end up needing it sooner. Wheeling is going to slow down a bit now and I've got some other smaller things to focus on. The 8.8 build is going to require about $1500 worth of parts so I definitely have to get through the holidays before I can justify that.
