@Macerick331. If all of the injectors are working properly then there should NOT be fuel leaking out of them. However if the are bad the you will se a dribble of fuel coming out of them when you turn the key on. Hope this helps.
Try the bucket I disconnected the coil pulled all the injectors (leaving them in the fuel rail) and cranked the motor a few times. I thought it would make a big mess but mine were so bad I had 1 spray out of half the injector nozzle and 7 dribble. The difference is my engine sat for a while with the fuel lines disconnected. From what I understand its common with LT1 injectors. I got a brand new set Venom I think, from summit. They work perfect now!
Welcome to the forum and nice looking YJ! Looks like you have the perfect start for a SBC swap. Mine has a 5.7 TPI motor from an 88 Vette and can be driven all day long with absolutley no problems at all, I love it!
I wish my engine bay looked like that hahaha awesome job man
As always, life and the holidays have gotten in the way of any progress, good news is that they are over, and I have a fresh set of vacation days!!
Bad news is that I am working on a house project, adding a half driveway to park this beast in on the side of my house. Adding concrete around my side yard, rebuilding the fence with and automatic gate and an awning to cover it.
Long story short, I'm looking at another month before I can start to finish the Jeep.
Pic from my Christmas decoration award...out of over 1,200 homes...yeah my head swelled up
Driveway project, you can tell where the old fence was and where ny AC compressor was..
I'm missing something in my fuel system. I can turn the key to run position and I can hear the fuel rails load up, and after a short while smell something like fuel, but the loading sound is constant. I'm thinking a sensor or something is missing somewhere...
don't know what exactly your running for a fuel pump relay but i know when I did my swap the tbi the computer put out a signal to run the fuel pump relay when ignition is switched on but would cut out after 10 seconds if not started , then on again when it got the crank signal from the distributor.
