Indeed!!

I had a busy day, got 3 trays of bolts powder coated, also took apart the tailgate latch plus other parts to powder coat.

Restored the tailgate latch, greased it up, got the weather stripping on, bolted up all the previously powder coated parts on. Now the latch, bolts and hinges all match in wrinkle coat.

Stripped, primed and painted the grill supports and the horn....the beer is easier to spot than the grill supports, and this might be the first restored jeep horn picture on the forum

Lastly, this poster was given to me by my dad just before he passed away. It's of the twin towers taken 3 months before they were attacked, note the date on the picture of June 1st, 2001. He gave it to me less than 30 days before the attack. It's stapled to the inside of my workshop door has been there since I got it. I'm thinking about removing it and having it framed.

Let us not forget.....

Rick

I just bought new ones for a Vette and put in mine. I figured since I had the motor too, why not.

Had a fruitful day, I'm working from the back (kind of) to get a visual impact....makes me feel good.

Installed the door strikers, doors, tailgate, rear bumper, spare tire, windshield hinges, rear taillights with wire harness, transfer case shifter, radiator and grill.

Also went to the grocery and hardware store, picked up the kids from daycare, smoked some baby back ribs and drank a few beers....I'm ready to go back to work and relax.....

It's starting to look like a Jeep
