It's been a long time coming, bet your enjoying a nice cold beer this evening! Just think, in a few days you will be starting the final (for now) assembly.

I told them to take 2 weeks if needed, that will give me time to finish a few things on the chassis like the emergency brake...might have issues here with the mufflers, not sure yet.

The windshield frame, grill and tailgate were in the truck. I blasted the finish off the tube fenders, they were crap anyway. I was going to have them powder coated black, but decided that was too much black, I'll haul those over to the paint shop in the morning.

Good call on painting the tube fenders. IMO black should only be used if they're added later.

Working on touch up stuff on the chassis while the body gets painted.

Question, Iv'e seen many posts on emergency brake conversions with a ford 8.8.

Can stock cables be used just by clamping the cable ends over on the axle end? I ask because stock 87-90 YJ cables are more expensive than later YJ's, aftermarket conversion cables are even more. My originals were rubbed thru, thus were trashed.
