I need to mod my transfer case and get my new front axle installed then ill be able to drive it again till I start my roll cage

Any body know much about Chevy transfer cases I need one shorter than the 208 and able to do a sye on

Finally got my front axle bolted up under the jeep.

now just need to make shock mounts and hook up steering in the front

I'm using an NP205 on mine, gear to gear internals, and much shorter than the 208. Also it doesn't require an SYE, it's already set up for a double cardan driveshaft.

Otherwise, yours looks like a nice build so far. I'm sure you're as anxious as I am to get it back on the road, or the trail...

Ya the 205 is what I came to the conclusion on using. Did you do a custom cross member or use the om skid plate crossmember?

Not sure yet, I'm still working on suspension stuff. I expect I will do a custom mount and skidplate though. What I'm thinking of is building a bar across for the crossmember, and attaching to the frame with a couple of bushed sleeves, similar to control arm bushings... if that's understandable at all... I'll whack a flat skidplate up as tight to the frame as I can get it. But there are still a lot of variables for me yet.

edit to add: I did not get rid of the old stock plate, just in case.

I got a couple things for the my yj. Now I just got to wait till I got back home for the weekend.
I got the poison spyder hood louver.

And also got a rear bumper not sure on the brand tho

Been bored lately with no other projects going on once I get home so I decide to pull the loom off of my wires and start getting rid 0f wires I that serve me no purpose any more.
