I have had several Jeeps in the last several years. A '93 ZJ, '06 TJ, '77 CJ, '98 XJ, and now this '97 XJ. This isn't really a build, but more a tool allowing me to track my upgrades and have a timeline. I am a light wheeler, especially since I am stock and have radial tires.

Auto
Chrysler 8.25"
Sagging leaf springs
Ravine wheels (just put on today and I got a SMOKING deal on them.)
Raptor lined the lower body
Bluetooth radio for hands free calling

After driving the Cherokee for about 100 miles today, there is a noticeable difference between the stock steel wheels and the aluminum Ravines. My suspension issues seem to be more pronounced...but that could be in my head. I'm gathering my list of lift components through amazon, semi following a thread from Cherokee forum.

Not really anything to report. We did take the XJ to Florida the other week. I checked fuel mileage on the way back. 20.5 mpg on the highway, with 3 adults, 2 kids, and the AC blasting in one heavily burdened XJ. I have done routine maintenance and have also been chasing a heat soak issue, so I did this today:
