My wife is grinning ear-to-ear reading this & reminding me that my Jeep is really HER Jeep.

Nice Jeep Kat!

Today's Progress

I just realized that I'm going to need new Diff Guards, somebody dented my old one's! Hmm, wonder who that was? I haven't decided on which ones to get yet.

We got the T-Case installed today

and the Novak Shifter Cable

The Crank Position Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor and the O2 Sensors installed along with the Transmission Fluid Tube and Dip Stick.

Look how the Red Superior Sticker matches my new Red Calipers!

This is my new Auto Trans Cooler

I think that I forgot to mention that we put in a TJM Air Locker in the rear.

I'm thinking of Powder Coating my Savvy Aluminum Gas Tank Skid Semi-Gloss Black to match the rest of my Body Armor.

I need to purchase a Trans Temp Gauge and a Digital Correction Box.

I also need a new Winch Line, the Green one just won't match anymore.

Can I change my user title to Savvy Kat?

That's it for today

Ok, I'll bite. Any details on the locker? Viable alternative to ARB?

It's Australian, they are looking to increase their US market presence, they are local, relatively unknown, and it was recommended that I give them a shot by someone I trust at Superior so another opinion would be out there.

We think it's a version of the McNamara locker of olde. My gear guy didn't complain other than they are only available in the numerically lower carrier break so that limits the use to 5:13's in the 44's due to having to use thick cut gears numerically higher than 3:73.

I do like the way the airline attaches to the housing. ARB should take lessons. 90 degree swivel pushlock right into the brass fitting on the housing.

As far as diff guards go, stay away from the Purple Cranium brand Spider guards, they're designed for looks not strength IMO... the spider guard didn't last one trip through Rauch Creek, so it wouldn't last one quarter of a trip through Johnson Valley if what I've seen online holds true.

It's nice to sorta meet you Mrs Johnson

Ordered more parts yesterday

I ordered the new Diff Covers from T and J Performance

And a Digital Correction Box from Summit Racing Equipment

I'm still trying to decide on which Auto Trans Temp Gauge to get. I'll post that up once I make a decision.

Nice to sort of meet you too! I found some Heavy Duty Diff Covers at T and J Performance, you might want to check them out.

I'd heard of TJM before, but haven't seen anyone running them yet. Very cool.

Nice to see you on here Kat. You've been silent far to long. I'll be keeping an eye on your build to make sure the builder isn't cutting any corners.
