undercoating will get done next summer. as for fogs, i agree, i dont like where they are, but i couldnt find anywhere else to mount them, and i dont want to get rid of them altogether. as for the brush guard, im really dissappointed, 'cuz now i dont like the look as much with the jugs off and after spending almost 200 on it and not using it for even a year, i dont want to get rid of it yet.

Paint job looks great!

I took the milk jugs off, too (and had the same problem with the bolts spinning). Recently added rock crawler type end caps from Quadratec.

All the best!

heres some of the 300+ pics:

we both had to ghetto-rig our flags

the XJ i was with got badly stuck within 20 minutes of being there

he was DEEP

my friends that were in my jeep talked me into taking this trail that i had no clue how difficult it was. we were taking this trail that these built rigs were taking

one of the rigs snapped his front DS at the top of a tight hill

posing, of course

thanks. can anybody tell whats wrong with my rear suspension in that last pic? should be a blast to fix

hint: compare the two shocks, and guess what happened. but regardless, it was the funnest day of my life for sure.

oh and get this, there were two college guys, maybe just out of college, driving a Grand Cherokee out there. he was the one that let me know my shock was 'wobbling around'. as i drove away, trying to find a flat spot on the ground to see what was up with it, he says (to both me and my friend with his XJ) "nice jeeps, what, did your daddies buy them for you?"

its people like this that can just ruin your day. why was this comment needed? it wasnt. he has no right to assume and judge. my friend bought his XJ used with his own cash and i inherited my TJ from my late uncle. he is driving a fully stock soccer mom car (no offense to any of you out there...) and he has the audacity to make fun of us? i have poured all my own sweat, blood, and money into my rig and i am damn proud. and he's drivin around a stock GC. gahh...

the NICE part about that, he got stuck literally 45 seconds after that encounter. got high centered. someone yanked him off the hump, and he got stuck again, sunk his front tires down into frozen mud stuff, only 50 feet from where he got high centered.

ahhh what a day.
