Dude I hate to call the safety police, but please tell me you are not welding on a wood floor, with tons of flammable stuff around you; ie couch full of stuff? Im surprised you haven't caught that place on fire yet. Im not trying to be a jerk, but seriously dude that is not safe. I dont want your next post to be a rumble of ashes.

I know but i have welding tarps to put on the floor for that reason just not when i took the video is all and also i keep a fire extinguisher and 5 gallon bucket of water on hand at all times. I know you are just concerned but i do take precautions and i only tack things into place, when i need to fully burn them in i do it outside or at my shop. When the weather is nice out its all done outside but when i took that video it was like 3deg outside so that is why i tacked them in place inside

Do you ever find that people get pissed off from how bright those tail lights are?

I installed the same ones and people will hi-beam me.

Ok So... i got my RC 4.5" Military Wrap Springs in and got them on last night here are a few things to note,

One - I was told they were 4.5" springs .... Not True they are 3.5" springs and with the kit you get a set of 1" shackles.

Two - if you have stock shackles they will not fit, and if you have anything other than Their lift shackles they may also Not work.

Ok so here is a Before and After shot of the front and rear

Front Before

After

Rear Before

Rear After

One would think that since i have a set of 1" lift shackles i should see the same lift or more than before but NO I got Less than before ??

Now on to the shackles, as i said you might run into problems as in my case.
Mine have a short and a long side i have the short end Up in the front and it works fine However in the rear the short end will not fit up at the frame so they have to face down.

This is where the problems are, the cross bar gets in the way of the mill wrap so i had to take the sleeve out and just put the bolt in

but in the front with the short end up its fine

So i put about 25miles on the jeep last night with the new springs and i can say they are MUCH SOFTER Of a ride and i will be hitting a trial or two today to try and flex them out and will let you know how they work

On the rears you could trim the wrap, I know that defeats the purpose but I've seen it done alot. plus less likely to be bashing the rears into rocks and whatnot.

How did they perform on the trails, Did ya get any pictures ?

I am curious to see how soft they ride compared to how my last Yj rode. I'll let you know how the RC shackles work for me when the lift gets installed

Sorry for the late reply but i ended up getting really sick sat night and all i did was sleep sunday,

but by the time my buddy got home from work it was already dark so all i had time for was a quick 5min trial out back from my house, all in all they seem to have worked well i could not really flex them out much since there was close to 12" of snow on the ground but ill try to take it up the road here today and see if i can flex them out on some rock piles and snap a few pic's for ya
