My YJ is white and that's very handy in hot, sunny conditions - it keeps the whole vehicle and passengers much cooler than darker colors. It makes a big difference, even during the winter here in Arizona.

got a few things done

the new frame was from a 4cyl and had the mounts moved but the drivers side was not in the right place so , i got that cut and ready to be moved

then im looking over the bottom and i find this

So what do i do now ?? do i have these parts cut out and new welded in ? Or grind them down and weld a plate over it and run longer bolts to the top ?

I'd repair the better frame - cut out the old and weld in the new
Find some quality nut-serts or weld in heavy hex nuts inside to bolt to

Handicapped license plates are not for mentally handicapped people -

Good news, bolts will surely make things easier!

Can't wait to see pics!

I'll be doing wheel bearings/seals on my D35 next weekend, hopefully it goes smooth. My wife won't let me do the 8.8 till I break the 35, perhaps I should leave that bad bearing in a little longer...

Thanks!

Nothing much done today but i did find a guy that is willing to swap my full doors for his half doors

So like i said its gonna be a slow build as i still need to save up 1000.00 to finish getting the rest of the parts i need
