I was looking online at old willys one evening and my mom saw what I was looking at and said I should email my grandfather. I hadn't talked to him in about 10-12 years. I emailed him, told him a little bit about myself and told him about my TJ and that I wanted to eventually build a 40s or 50s Cj. Turns out that he had a 46 2a that he has had since the 50s and it's the one my mom had ridden in. He told me that I could have it if I came and got it.
It's going to need a new floor, a new windshield, and some body pannels. I think the grill, fenders and hood will be able to be saved. He said that the engine will turn but it's a little tight. I am going to try it in a couple weeks. My plan is to get it running, then start on the body and frame work. Restoration is the word. Any help or ideas would be great.
