My "new" 1973 DJ-5C

It runs decent now but I would like to make some engine upgrades if possible. I believe its an AMC 232 inline 6 and it's mostly stock with the exception of the air cleaner.

I would like to upgrade the carburetor and exhaust if possible. Are headers an option? I've seen them on CJ's which I heard are basically the same but was unsure if they would fit properly due to this being a right hand drive DJ.

Thanks for any info/suggestions!
