The bed is a 6 ft bed. here is a pic with the fender flare setting on the side...close to where the wheel cutout is going to be. I'll try to take some better pics later.

I got the front of the bed sides done. The 16 ga. sheet metal is hard to form.

Looking good. You can always bring the bed here to primer it if you don,t want the smell in your house. You can get my trailer if you want.

I think the Prospector bed has a 6 ft bed, so my bed will be the same length, with the wheels centered in the bed side. I would like to use the AEV Brute cab closeout, but with a $2200.00 price tag...money will determine if I use it.

Not a whole lot of progress lately. I did get the sheet metal cut for the front of the bed.

I will probably put a few more vertical supports on the front of the bed. The front wall on the inside of the bed will have aluminum diamond plate and some sort of tie down loops.

I picked up a cj7 tailgate off of craigslist yesterday. Im not sure if I am going to use it or make my own.
