So this is my 97 TJ, 2.5L, 5spd. I got it 2 summers ago now.. and i regret not having posted as ive done things to it cause i believe it came a long way from the first time it got driven onto my driveway.
Anyways i was 19 at the time and in my first year of university. And this was my first vehicle
I did all the regular maintance stuff right away, changed my oil, filter, replaced all the differential fluids, new fan belt, new spark plugs, distributor cap,
The day it was rolled onto my drive, it was feminish looking had these rainbow fog lights, purple sport sticker on the side, and that ugly looking bra upfront. Like i said feminish.
I had taken off the ugly looking fog lights already at that time, and i was just contemplating about the bra but that didnt last long either

Man it looks a lot better without those girly sport decals. Sucks that the license plate still has girly colors.

Then i went out and got some of that stuff to clean the plastic window scratches with and got some 303 Protectant aswell to restore my top a bit cause its faded pretty bad.
Also i had taken off all the stickers off it cause they were kind of cheesy
Then i installed some stock fog lights that i bought here on this forum. and gave the jeep a good cleaning at the same time.
Next what i did was
Get new tires
Installed tow hooks
Had to get my exhaust manifold replaced
I will post pics of all the new stuff up tomorrow

I also traded my half door for full doors, i prefer to have the glass instead of plastic windows much more convinient
And this is some recent pictures but not that new since then i put on some tow hooks, i also got 15" Ecco Wheels instead of the steelies.
And i will post pictures of what it looks like as of now

Great pictures. Wish i had a soft top for mine. It's a pain in the butt to take off my hard top every time i want to drive around with out the top on.

i do have to say man that tow hook install is impressive, i was wondering how you got that on there. I guess next you're gonna have to post pics of the rockers, i even found the perfect smiley for your dad's expression when he saw them come to your door lol
Well man keep it up and here's to more good times with the Jeeps
