My Jeep

Hey here's a link to my page. Nothin special about my Jeep yet, except for the tiny detail that its MINE! I love my Jeep. Sorry it's so clean, the wife's been on vacation, so she hasn't seen it yet. No scratches allowed until after she sees it.

I hope that ends up as a link. If not cut and paste. Saying that always makes me feel like a little kid.

I had planned on gettin the solar yellow, but that didn't happen. My wife insisted on an automatic, and those are few and far between in the X model. I am perfectly happy with black though.

Some of my friends think I settled. They don't understand that it could've been pink and I would still be happy. Its a JEEP!!

Nah, you didn't settle. You just need to add more black [Wink] .

Patience. It was hard enough talking my wife into buying the Jeep.

I haven't got to the planning stage yet. Still at the dreaming stage. I'll go with tires first though. Always my first step. Probably 31x10.50's, I can get away with those without a lift or new wheels. Some minor appearance mods and trail mods. Driving lights, diamond plating on the corners, tow hooks, etc. Inexpensive yet quality little mods.

What tires are you thinking about? My friend is at the same stage as you with his TJ. He is going to do tires, but is still debating on what ones. Probably either BFG ATs or MTs. Most likely MTs as most people on here are saying MTs wear just fine and aren't overly noisy. Good luck.

Drack, normally I'm not in favor of black rims, but with your completely black setup it they look sweet. Got any pics. of your TJ wheeling? What is your setup?

Probably BFG AT, just cause I won't wheel it hard for a little while. Maybe Goodyear MT/R. Don't know for sure yet.

The ATko's are a great all around tire. I ran them in 31 and 32's on my TJ. Finally broke down and got something a bit more aggressive in the MTkm's. You'll be happy with the AT's though . They wear great, next to no noise, and will still perform when you get them out on the trail.

Hank, click my sig and it'll take ya to my site. I got a couple pics there, don't wanna keep posting pics in someone elses thread [Wink] .
