I like the canyons too, but I may have missed it are you swapping tires as well?

I thought about doing the outer trim of the flare black like James' Pumpkinator build, but decided against it. Maybe someday if I have to touch up the paint that's what I'll do.

As far as the track bar? People swear by the JKS. Currie's rear has only been on the market for a few months now, and I'm not up to date on the features/price difference between the JKS 151B ($184) and the Currie at $300. If I was going to buy a new one to replace the R.C. bar that I just got for free, it'd probably just be the JKS.

Nope. Just wheels. I love my A/Ts and got an insane deal on them so until they're worn down to the inner ply, I shall rock them hard

That being said, MTRs are next.

This is why you've had me swayed, Ryan. I really liked the look and the beef of the Rokmen's and I've got welding covered no problem. The thing is...the look of those TNT's and the ease-for-price is almost a no-brainer. It would also give me a chance to test out the color-match I've seen on the market for my factory blue paint. This should give me sufficient drinking-while-paint-drying time.

The Pumpkinator build is right where I got the idea for the black trim on the flare. Love that look. Awesome build thread too.

Have been leaning toward JKS because of price and the plethora of great reviews from members. Their Quicker Disco's are the next best thing to an anti-rock IMHO.

New track bar is in. Broke a Wal-Mart rachet strap trying to crank it over while the remaining 4-links of suspension were all connected. I think (my measurements suck) that it still needs to move over a half inch or so, but that's something I can do when I've got access to more HD straps. At this point I'm just happy it's connected. Not sure when it became disconnected, but it might have explained the weird steering I was having the other day on a main road around 40 mph. Only other things to do today are to get a new nut for a rear UCA.

Mark my words- before the year is out I will be on Currie arms in the back as well. I can't for the life of me understand why my rear axle is centered in the wheel well running on stock lowers, but I should count my blessings.

Pics to come later now that the rocker panels are back installed. I think I'm going to wash it and take it for a photo shoot

Looks good. As far as the JKS TB is concerned, mine has been fine. I will let you know if I have any issues Wednesday.

Thanks! Front is the Rampage Recovery bumper, and the rear is a SRC Crawler that I hacked up and turned into a tire carrier. Both have served extremely well

Genius. And thank you for the backspacing info. I didn't know if I should get 1.25" or 1.5" but since the Soft-8s are 4" I'll get the 1.5" spacers to bring me right back where I am now. Should work out okay. I'm off to Maine for work but the guy and I are doing the swap next week.
