I'd want to keep the rear flares black anyway, but the fronts have a 99.782% chance of being color matched

Throttle Position Sensor finally **** the bed today. I was driving home from Boxford and it was failing, causing the Jeep to hop and skip forward. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it back to Reading without stalling out in front of traffic and totaling the damn thing. So I'll need to be ordering a new one of those before the TJ can go anywhere. Also need to track down this horrific squeek that's coming out of the rear end while driving. It's not a shock bushing, as it only makes noise when it's rolling forward (and not when I shake the body when it's still).

Might post a video later with the GoPro for help with the noise.

Go with TnT. They are a great group of guys. They are a small shop, but do big things. Their stuff is extremely strong and well built. Their CAD designs fit the Jeep well with very little massaging to get the parts on. My corners are 1/4" steel.

I intend to order the front fenders later this summer.

Also, just ordered a new TPS from RockAuto for $26 shipped. Given their track record, it will be here by Wednesday so assuming the install goes okay (HA!) the heep will be back on the road without a hitch. I'm going to make a quick video of the squeek today unless I can figure out what it is beforehand.

Went to National Jeep Topless Day in Foxboro MA today with a few guys from the club. Had an awesome time and met some great people. TJ did respectably well on the RTI ramp (not sure of exact score right now but I'll post it tomorrow) and I made it home fine after bouncing around on a skid or two across the rock garden. Also replaced my TPS the other night so there will be a write-up about that as well - wicked exciting, huh?!?!

And the ones of my TJ:

I had called you yesterday morning because you said on the club thread that you were attending, and we didn't want to leave without making sure everyone was there who was planning on going.

Well it's worth noting the issues I've been having lately with an unknown individual. Despite my best efforts to keep to myself, working 60+ hours a week and staying busy, I have become the victim of a few "random" acts of damages. In April the Audi's front tire was slashed, to the tune of $250 in repairs for a new tire and all the work associated with that. Thursday night of last week (05/17) someone spray painted a large ***** on the TJ's drivers side door. It was parked on the street in front of the house, but someone stopped by between 11p and 7a and colored on the door with grey aerosol. A call into the police reported back that they also painted the middle school with the same.......design...... and that they were reviewing security footage.

For future reference, Isypropyl alcohol will remove spray paint, albeit with a ****load of work. It took me 3 and a half hours of scrubbing, rubbing, buffing, swearing, etc but I was able to remove everything except the slight trace of the right testicle (see below). I will be getting an invoice for the amount it would have cost to strip and repair the damage from a local shop in order to bill the perpetrator.

So I thought this was all random... BUT I walked outside to leave this morning at 5:30 and saw that the TJs door was open, and the center console opened with my stuff (gloves, papers, the winch controllers) removed and thrown about. The glove box was also opened, but my tire pressure sensor and phone charger were still in there, along with the registration. Not quite sure if anything is missing, but in my quick review it was not. I snapped some photos just in case I need to make anything of this.

Security cameras are ordered and in the mail. If I find out who did this, there will be some very serious consequences.

Holy crap, this just keeps getting worse.

You got a night where you can just park it on the street and stay up all night waiting? If it's a weekend, I'll bring over a baseball bat and keep you company, ha ha.

Do your dogs make any noise when they hear strange noises? Letzty would have gone ape****.

I'm planning on it soon. The camera should do a good job as well. And no, the dogs being 13 years old doesn't help at all. One is deaf and the other sleeps in my bedroom which is on the opposite side of the house as the driveway

Rest assured, there shall be revenge.

I saw you give the rock garden a shot at Go Topless Day, that was pretty sweet! Sucks to hear about the vandalism though, I hope the police are able to catch the guy. If I were you I would start considering a proximity sensor alarm for your TJ, might scare them away. Do you think it was the same person each time?
