Thanks for the kind words! And I'll certainly be back up in NH, within the next few months. I'm the president of our local club and we do all of our wheeling in Southern NH. I'll be sure to keep you in mind for when we do, and you can meet up with us! Perhaps even show us some places you know of...

Sounds like a plan! Definitly looking forward to getting back out in the trails. and it will give me some motivation to start building my jeep!

Today was the perfect weather for the ever-exciting Tire Change! It has been 2,000 miles since I went to 35s, but I wanted to be pro-active about tire rotations this time, since I was such a dipsh*t about it with my 31s and effectively ruined their tread wear. I followed the half-X pattern that is suggested for 4WD vehicles, as shown below.

Tomorrow, hopefully the weather cooperates and Geoff and I will be swapping his YJs D35 for a well built 8.8.

Did some work on Geoff's Jeep today in the half-a$$ed "snow" that we got. Had a good time, made a lot of progress, and got a few shots of my TJ in the process. His YJ is getting decked out with these axles. And I'd never gotten to work on leaf springs before so it was a nice change in pace to my springs/track bars/control arms/lining up all these damn bolts and holes. If only leaf springs had as much flex!

I'm really happy with the way my TJ looks. Tube fenders are going to make a hell of a difference look-wise. Can't wait!

You should, in no way, take any of this personally. It's just business. So to recap, I come in peace, I mean you no harm, and you all will die. Gallaxhar out.

Almost finished, but two silly mistakes held us up. Yesterday we had trouble drilling out the spring plates and I had to wait until today for a machine shop to be able to do it. And today I couldn't start until 4, and at 6:30 when we couldn't get the brake lines to bleed properly, I realized I had the calipers on the wrong sides.

I drove up and down the driveway, though. That's gotta count for something.

Thanks Andrew! I'm pretty happy with how it looks and performs. Let me know when you lift it.

Thanks!!! Crazy to think that my first build thread post was 4 years ago next month. Sure has come a long, long way since then. Be sure to meet up with us at some point. Whether it's wheeling in NH or wrenching around here! Glad to have you.

UPS will be delivering this Magnaflow top pipe & catalytic converter this afternoon. Since it's Valentines Day I will be with Steph, but tomorrow I'll be looking to install my new exhaust (remember: I bought a Banks 2.5 Monster cat-back kit in December for $100 on Craigslist). This will replace my entire exhaust for $260, compared to the $600+ that Lou's wanted, and the $460 that it would have cost to buy everything new.

Now I won't sound like an 18 wheeler anymore.

Nice! I honestly didn't think it was that loud. But now it will have some class.
