You going to the meet tomorrow night? If so, do you want me to bring the upper control arms?

Here are some pictures from today... my first full day back in Boston! Some pics of the new 35s next to the TJ, 35s next to my mom's Miata, new axles on the trailer for moving them, clean TJ after $15 of car washes, and one of Steph's truck after I washed and waxed it...

Glad to see you got home safe and sound. Let me know when you want to work on your Jeep, I'm pretty much free all the time cause I work at night.

I believe you and I have 4 axles to swap! I'm around all day too, so we can get started whenever you want. Yours are already under way so if you want to meet up this week I can drive to Tewks and start helping you out.

Ordered a gallon of Chassis Saver (gloss black) for $104 with free shipping YESTERDAY morning. UPS says it will be delivered TODAY! That's literally 36 hours after being ordered! The way this will play out is that I'll be removing the axles for the swap, and taking off all (reasonably) removable components under the tub to be coated with chassis saver. Drive shafts, steering components, control arms, etc. I want to have the entire thing covered in Chassis Saver. Then I'll let it dry and SaxManClay and I (2003x included!) will re-assemble everything with the new axles underneath her.

Hopefully this will be as good of a product as everyone says it is! I'm not rusting through the frame or anything but the look of surface rust drives me nuts. A BIG thank you to MagnetMan for getting this product out so quickly!

I was just thinking, if you're going to do the ZJ V8 tie rod upgrade, it's only an extra $25 to do a tie rod flip. That way the tie rod will be above the pumpkin and out of harms way.

And all the ZJ parts new from autozone are a little over $70.
