Well after 6 months of the TNTs, and my turn signals being the 3/4" LEDs, I decided to step it up and put in some real ones that can actually be seen. The 3/4" ones are now being used as running lights as well as directionals alongside the 2.5" ones. The 2.5" came from SuperBriteLEDs.com for $20 with the grommets and pig tail wiring, and were a gift from a family friend.

It honestly took only about half an hour to get these things in, including measuring the positions, taping off the front, removing the bumper, and cutting the holes. I messed around with the wiring a little to get it the way I wanted (videos will be posted tonight once it's dark out and I get a change to shoot it) but these things are BRIGHT!!!! I used some black RTV around the edge of the grommet just to hold it in their a little more, although the 2 5/8" hole saw did a fine job of making a tight hole for them to fit into.

Yeah let me just wait until this monsoon is done interrupting my day. The wiring is pretty interesting, I believe I actually got it to work in a way that everyone says you can't without all those resistors and "3 to 2 wire conversion" makeshift things. The videos will be fun to show ya.

Did some work on the exhaust system. I'll post pics when I get a chance! I think it's finally the way I want it now.

I really like those turn signals. That's exactly what I had in mind for when I switch to flatties. As usual, here I am drooling over your Jeep!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas, Ryan!

What did you end up putting into yours cost wise? I'm looking at the Clayton 4-link long arm kit for $920 w/ free shipping. Truss, frame mounts, and the 4 arms with JJ ends. Figure I can sell the Currie rear uppers, new JKS track bar, and make back half the cash easily.

Then again I should probably run the rig the way it is for another year or so. At this point buying a house is more important... but it is fun to dream

Yeah, and think how much easier it would be to install on a loft in your barn.

Not in a driveway, not scrambling for tools, not shivering with the cold or trying to work around the rain. Able to leave it half-finished and come back to it at your leisure. (No one backing into it while you're gone...)

4-link can come in time. You've been too excited about this barn for too long not to make it a priority.

The Jeep isn't going anywhere.

THIS!!!! I would never have gotten into modding Jeeps if I did not have my own shop or the farm shop to depend upon for the above stated "wrenching comforts".

Life continues as usual, underfunded but infinitely interesting!
