"Thinner" tires.....unless you also go with "Shorter" tires won't make enough difference to keep from rubbing. The reason the tires are rubbing in the first place is that they are too tall for the lift. What the backspacing will do is push the tires outward from the frame giving you the clearance to prevent the rubbing. And don't buy wheels that you don't want to take off road. That's defeating the purpose of having a Jeep! Good looking truck! I like the first set of wheels.....with about 3.5" of backspacing. Keep the tires, you'll love the new look!
