"Thinner" tires.....unless you also go with "Shorter" tires won't make enough difference to keep from rubbing. The reason the tires are rubbing in the first place is that they are too tall for the lift. What the backspacing will do is push the tires outward from the frame giving you the clearance to prevent the rubbing. And don't buy wheels that you don't want to take off road. That's defeating the purpose of having a Jeep! Good looking truck! I like the first set of wheels.....with about 3.5" of backspacing. Keep the tires, you'll love the new look!

Nice looking Jeep. I'll keep an eye out for you around town. Keep the tires and go with a wheel with less backspacing. You won't be happy with the look of pizza cutters under that thing.

ok ive got another question. i drove my dads 00 cherokee and it is a lot more peppy than my comanche! they ahve the same motor! 4.0! my dads motor has 117k on it and mine has 93k! and mine feels like its got a flat spot idk if its the bigger tires or what but has anyone had this before?
