Well things have been slow going here on my end but rest assure I wont stop until this things a beast lol ..... Got a new iac sensor put in yesterday and now she idles dead set on 500 rpms and no erratic up and down when I come to a stop. And yes finally I went and picked up some argon gas to weld my new intake manifold and hopefully get the header and intake installed this weekend. Its about dam time. Hopefully I can make it to the junkyard to get the contour fan and get that done. although after removing the grill the highest temp Ive seen with 98 deg and a/c on in traffic was 215 which is not too bad considering Im missing a little portion of my shroud at the bottom so the vacuum it creates is not 100% there.I keep seeing diffrent threads on how the electric fan conversion isn't really worth the time and money but if your going to buy a Taurus fan at over 100 bucks I can see why. Thats why im glad I found out about the contour fan because for the same cfm movement the quote I got at 35 bucks isnt bad at all. More updates to follow. My goal is to have all these loose end projects wrapped up before the winter. Man I need more hours in a day to get all this stuff done or some helpers hahhaahaahahah

Have you got the new coils in yet?. Btw my friend. We found out that the land rover in front of radiator fan works. You can keep the mech one and have an e one as well.

not yet need some shop time but the e fan conversion is really for the added hp back and I wouldn't have room in the front with the cooler out there.

You wont notice a diff. The fan clutch engages at low speeds or idle. Not high speeds. Your water pump may last onger but id leave it on.

He has a cooler and has room. It mounts on one side. Its a small fan.

yep thats how flex type fans work but the difference in cfm at crawl speeds is amazing when u turn it on high. besides the fact for water crossing I will have the ability to turn it off and not shoot water up under the hood

Finally found a spre rim to match on e bay and some tires from a guy in Clifton for a good deal.1 bfg mud terrain 33x10.5 for my spare about 75% 3 pro comp mud terrains about 25-30% left good for a season. Now I have to find someone selling one or two of these about the same tread and then I got me a full set.

Well it didnt pay to be cheap on the upper radiator hose because after an hour drive today it blew on me again. I cant say I have a problem yet and this time she didn't even overheat at all the whole ride she was at 210 like always. Jumped in the goat went to auto zone and got me a fresh hose. If I blow this one then I got problems. On a better note found a jf member who is selling some pro comp mud terrains about the same tread. Going tomm to pick them up. Also if you plan on doing a homemade snorkel DO NOT USE 2" PVC. It choked the hell outta my 4.0. I went and got most of a new one put together in 3" and right now from the throttle body to the filter and boy oh boy did I get power back . The best is pulling hills is a breeze now even with the 33s and my erratic idle went bye bye..Camera went dead I will get some pics tomm after I get the tires.

Well got the tires and im glad i did because now I have a set of 5 that the treads all match. Prob run them in the spring. She couldnt find the other 3 rims but when she does I can just go pick them up which would be nice they are 4.5 and fit . It would be nice to have another set.

Then I got the snorkel done to the point where now it can be painted. Next step is getting 3 inch aluminum tubing and some mandrel bends and welding a real one together. But in the meantime this will do.
