I agree great job on bringing those bumpers back.
Its amazing that people let something get like that when the cure is so simple. I live in the rust belt and you see so many new trucks with rusted bumpers, makes the whole truck look like crap. Take 5 dollars and 10 minutes and it looks great again.![]() Back on topic great lookin jeep!!

so i got my cb radio today and got her all hooked up... i ended up buying a midland 5100 and a 5' firestick II... i mounted the antenna on the spare tire carrier using an existing bolt:
![]() ![]() i mounted the cb next to the overhead light and since i am not a big fan of drilling holes in my jeep i mounted it using zip ties... it may not be conventional but it should work until i can get a better mount built: ![]() ![]() ![]() here is what my jeep looks like with the antenna mounted: ![]() ![]() and i did not feel like hardwiring it and i had a spare 12v socket adapter lying around i used it and wired the cb into the cig lighter: ![]() ![]() i got to clean up the wires a little bit but i ran them under my roll bar padding so they are out of sight and then under the drivers seat to the socket.. |
