Slow progress. Body bolted on. Drive shafts installed. Motor was frozen so I took the head off and used a combination of WD-40, PB Blaster and ATF. Nothing.
My girlfriends ex husband told me to go find some Corrosion Block at a Marine store. So I did.

$20 for 12 ounces. Sprayed everything on top and side. Plus crankshaft and camshaft from underneath. Skip to not quite 24 hours I go outside and hit the key and I get a little bit of movement.
So I spray more of the Corrosion Block on the motor and walk away for 2 hours. I come back and with the long socket wrench and breaker bar I turn the motor over

No pictures yet, have to get gaskets and button up the motor and go from there.

No fuel system hooked up, the old nasty spark plugs and old used wires, no cooling system hooked up, no muffler.

This was yesterday. After this video I swapped out the steering box for a actual 2A box. ( the "new" one has a horn and is about an inch shorter then the one that was in there, plus it is much easier to turn.)

Traded for a hard top...too bad I would need a 2A windshield to make it work.

Lets see...

I bought a heat riser kit for mine cause the bushings were very worn. Took the manifolds to work and sandblased them. My intake had a cracked ear on one of the bolts that was welded bad who knows how long ago. Has pin holes in it.
My exhaust manifold had a lovely crack in it to. Good thin I work in the same building as a machine shop and a very professional welder.

Made a 2A top fit my 3A windshield. Not pretty but does what it needs to.

More done too but I am trying to finish it quickly and cant recall everything I have done.
