Well my jeep started messing up, it was spitting sputtering and wasn't getting enough gas. So i whipped out my trusty fuel pump pressure tester and measure the pressure in the fuel injector. when i first cranked it it ran at about 40psi and slowly decreased to 15 psi at idol. Luckily my fuel pump is under warranty since i just got it replaced. So the guys at Dunright Trans towed it to the shop to swap a new one in there. it just depressing bc I'll be about 2 days without my jeep. Im 17 i don't think i would know how to replace it yet.

The guys called me today and told me there might be something more serious behind it. But it makes sense bc i don't think my luck is that bad to where i've had 3 go bad in a year. I'm going to school to be a mechanic so maybe i can start figuring stuff like this out by myself.

Ok here's the deal with the jeep. Originaly my fuel pump went bad and since it was under waranty they were going to replace it for free. I drove all the way to dillon to buy a thicker skid plate for the gas tank and brought it back to florence. I get back expecting them to be done by yesterday and walt calls me to tell me they got the wrong regulator. i have the 15 gallon tank and they got the 19 gallon regulator. so i have to wait until monday to get my jeep back. So I've been without my jeep for 5 days and i've got the weekend left.

Luckily the guy i met to sold me the skid plate told me he has a set of 3 inch bds springs he will sell me for 75 bucks. so within the next week or 2 i will have new springs on the jeep.

I love them. love the grip and they look like a mini tsl. the only thing is they are wearing down kinda fast. I got pretty lucky with the deal on them. A local tire shop had a guy with a stock jeep purchase them along time ago and they wouldn't fit so they just sat there. By word of mouth i heard about them and only payed 500 dollars for 4 tires and rims, BRAND NEW.

But im gonna need a new set before long, i wanna get 35's next but i've got alot of work to do first.

I know what you mean, mine are almost done after only about 30,000 miles, but if you do a lot of driving its perfectly reasonable. My next tires will either be the cooper stt or toyo open country mt's.
