Got a little update on the heep.

Herc'd the edge of the fenders

Hand throttle

That wheel that I hit the curb with started leaking.

So I put my spare on (soft 8). Then I ordered 4 more soft 8s

Made a little organizer

Then got a sticker to rep my local wheeling ranch (southern missouri offroad ranch) SMORR

Wheels should be on by Friday, pics will come.

I like the fender flares, as well as the shifter nob.

That organizer is a great idea, aswell.

Hah, those guys added me on myspace about a month ago. There are some sweet rigs over there. That chip on your rim does not even look that big, too bad you gotta buy a whole new set.

Well, I got my soft 8s mounted. I really like them. Heres some pics....

Made it sit a little wider too. Now only half of my front tires are covered.

And the gay thing is that the guy who mounted them put these long *** valve stems in them. He said he was out of short ones and to come back in a week and he'd swap em out.

dude this jeep is so ****ing awesome

any chance you can tell if youve had any problems with the lining inside the fenders being off? i want to take my flares off but i dont want **** getting up in where the lining protects when i go muddin and have rust problems down the road.

also, hows your clutch like the 32s? i think if i took off the flares and trimmed, 31s would look a little to small but i dont want to drop a bunch of money into re-gearing right now either.

I have never had any problems without the lining in there. I have a pool noodle shoved up on the door side of the fender so crap doesnt spew through there. But Ive never really had any problem, just wash it out when I wash it.

And really the 32s arent all that bad, I only really drove it for a week after I got my license before I got them, so I dont really remember what it was ever like with stock tires. I might be surprised if I tried them. But I personally dont think its too bad, I dont gotta ride the clutch or anything to take off. The only thing is that on the highway 5th gear is fricken useless, just dogs it down.

And thanks for the compliments on the Jeep. Every time I see yours I always say, "wish I wouldve left mine more stock"

yeah i think stock looks good from a distance, but then i walk up to it and i can see over the roof and im like "****, i need a lift."

but yeah does the pool noodle hold that well? is there any chance that the lining could stay or do the tires rub it?

Hey I really like your jeep, makes me wish that I made a build up thread but anyways... How did you do your doors? And do they sag badly? I can't seem to find a 2dr person to talk to about this.. not many of us out there. Also could you maybe take some pics of your hinges?

Thanks
Kevin

Great wheeling pics. Some very nice rigs.

Sad that your one of the only doorless XJs I see.
