ya good choice staying with the flareless look. Flares are only really worth it if u dont have any problems in the stock location. Most mods to flares start to look awkward. nice work!

Wondering if you have any rub issues then. I'm at 4" lift and getting ready to trim my XJ and want to go 32" tires.

No, I just trimmed enough to clear them. I also cut and folded the pinch seam inside the front fender, it cut up my tires pretty good on my first run.

Yeah, but I had to mount them up higher to clear my trimmed fenders. So it doesnt extend all the way down.

It really looks great man! i'm picking up a 97 two door w/ 240k and replaced motor for 800 tomorrow w/ about 4" lift and trimmed fenders (way past the pinch weld in back ) but in the rear its got blocks and shackles so imma have to do the bastard pack like you did, i cant wait because every time i see your's i think daaammn thats hot!

ques tho, you have any problems with excessive body flex when doorless because i hear the 2doors are weaker with out there doors and the one im buying had the side window blown out from flexing too much!

No, never had any problems with that. The doors offer no structural support, theyre just 2 weak hinges and a little door pin.

yeah thats what i thought, but i have seen a picture on a local forum of a square of broken glass in the shape of his window and he said it just popped out when he was doorless and flexing, it could just be coincidence that he was doorless and the 2 doors are just a little weaker since they lack an extra support pillar, but oh well i'm excited to get it

It's a unibody, any real flexing without some good beefed up sub frame supports added in will cause some body wrinkles or glass breakage on pretty much any unibody vehicle. I know on my Trans Am, I pucker when I launch at the track now and I won't be going back til I get my sub frames rails welded on. 1.4x 60' times on torque arms are insane for body twist with no subframes.

Either way, first thing you should do if you are crawling I would think is to get some frame stiffeners/sub frame rails. I'm new to Jeeps, but it's the same principle with all unibodies.

Umm...you sure about that? 2.4 60ft is horrible...especially for a RWD. Hell, I pull 2 flats with my CRX on radials. 1.7s with 23" slicks.
