My 98 TJ project

I picked up this 98 Sport in May, 72K miles, hardtop, 4.0, 32RH, with A/C. It was bone stock and had never been off the highway.

1st day I yanked the mud flaps, side steps, and front bumper extensions.

RC 2.5 lift, 33x12.50 Baja Claws, and refinished the fender flares.

Trimmed the stock flares and bump stopped so the 33's wouldn't rub anymore.

Replaced the stock flares with 6.5" flares that I trimmed. Installed 1/4" thick rocker guards, Trail Gear front bumper, 4.10 gears, Lock-right in the front, Super 35 kit with Detroit locker in the rear.

No rubbing, I did have to add bump stop though.

Lots of mods since the last pics. 1.25" body lift, bumpers, 35's, etc.

Nice progression! I was laughing to myself, you managed to take your A/B picture of stock to 33s in the same exact location on a day with identical lighting and two tan SUVs in the back.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Did you switch to a swing-out tire carrier in the back for the 35s?
