Question for you. You have 30 x 9.5 x 15s on a stock cherokee? Thats exactly what I want to do. No body lift or anything. Let me know, man. Your truck looks nice as hell...Im looking forward to working on mine. Thanks.

Yes I have 30x9.50r15's on 8.5 wide rims on a stock XJ. I wanted to raise it first but needed tires sooner than expected. I am planning on having the lift done during the summer. I did have to do a little trimming to the inside of the front fender flares to keep them from rubbing! But overall I like the way she looks!!

Small problem with a body lift on a Cherokee .. there is no such thing for your year of Cherokee. Unibody means that the frame and body are all one piece. For a nice little lift, Commanche rear shackles will lift the back a bit, and a new product called "ACOS" from OffRoad General Store can lift the front to match the rear. You do not loose drive-ability, and its fairly in-expensive.

GaCherokee, it looks good! I was wondering, have you had it off road with those tires and no lift? I am wanting to go with bigger tires also now that I have a couple inches of more air underneath. I am just wondering what kind of rubbing I'm gonna get if I go with, say, 31's. But yes, your truck does look cool. Black was one of the colors I was thinking about but I have had a black car and a silver car and the clean-up on the silver was much easier, so....there ya' go

I did some "mild" offroading with the 30's and did have some rubbing. Then I went ahead and put on my 1in lift and tried that offroad. I did not notice any rubbing after that! I was not very aggressive,I basicly, was trying to rotate the 4wd componens enough to protect them. A guy told me to use the 4x4 at least once a year to keep the seals well lubed if I did not go offroad a lot.
