I love my Polk audio speakers in the dash. It was one of the first things I bought for my jeep 10 years ago. They still work great to this day and that's after years of sun, rain and cold temps. The only thing l recommend is making sure there is space between the metal dash and the tweeter/speaker itself or it will vibrate when there is bass.

Hey I love your bumper, but any idea on the legality? I know most cops won't bother to pull you over sfor something like that, but I'm thinking of a stubby, and I've heard they're illegal some places. Could be wrong, and I hope I am-- I really want one!

What soundbar did you get? What size speakers does it take? Are you using the speakers that came w/ the bar, or your own? Where did your 6x9's mount? Does it sound better because of where the speakers are located, or because of the quality of speakers?

I ask all these questions because I'm planning on upgrading my sound system this year but don't want to waste money on crap. Currently I'm rocking the Pioneer 4" speakers the PO installed in the soundbar and want more.

I love the new bumper too man. I've been wanting a JCR bumper, and that stubby one w/ the stinger is calling my name...but there are so many things that need to be fixed/upgraded on my Jeep before the bumper.

One my question for ya...how do you like your MCE fenders? I'd love to get a set, but I'd have to narrow my YJ up a bunch to make it legal to run them. I may do that some time in the future and would definitely consider those flares, as I LOVE the look. Have you massaged any rocks or trees with them yet? I saw the vids on their website and they looked durable, but a lot of plastic products are flexible and durable when it's warm. You seem to do a lot of colder wheeling so I'm interested to hear how they hold up in those conditions.

meltairy- the sound bar is a vdp 2 speaker setup I am running the 6.5 speakers that came it, I took out the 6x9 setup I could never really hear them anyway since they where on the floor behind the seats so the sound bar by it self was a huge upgraded to me! and I love my mce flairs and would go with them again in a heart beat. Seeing that I wheel in the pnw I have lots of tight rocky soup trail so yes I have smash them on stuff and it they never skipped a beat and the cold has never affected them!

branjmb-I have never heard of them being illegal and have never been messed with for it (not even by the wa state patrol) this jcr bumper is a little longer than the cut down tj bumper that I was running, I would never do with a full with bumper I just don't care for the looks of them!

Never looked into their bumpers before.. 370$ or so shipped for their stubby bumper with a stinger?hmm.. that or I could buy one of their premade stingers to weld onto my cut down stocker. How do you like yours?

I go to college and I drive a Jeep.
