I did this. I just drilled the threaded holes and used the Ford ubolt style from the help section at Oreilys.

Hmmmm, maybe that's why I still have vibes from my front shaft. Can I put ubolt straps on the yoke on the transfer case side?

Not sure if I over looked it but what did you use to paint your hinges and grill?

To her out on the bds maiden voyage and was very impressed with out the springs handle. They yield a very comfy ride and seem to flex great!

So this won't happen till march but I planning on buying a loaded g2 44. It will come with 5.13 gears/arb locker with 30 spline chromo shafts, on the down side the axle reuses the Dana 30 knuckles and bearing but oh well. At the same time I will be buying a arb and matching gear set for my 8.8 along with a arb compressor and if the funds allow a Tera 4.1 case. Any way I just felt like sharing some near future plans for my jeep that is all!

I've come to realize that buying a loaded axle like you plan on is more times then not more cost efficient then building one. And better yet you can drop it right in

BDS - Spartan - AtoZ Fabrication - Borgeson HD - USA Standard - BFGoodrich

Why not just go with a D60 in preparation for an LS and be done with it.

Because I think I am sticking with 37s and a 44/8.8 should hold up fine with ls.......

Can you go any deeper gear than 5.13? Might be something to consider.your jeeps taking another huge step!
