First plug welds on sleeves, all holes drilled, and will finish up the welds tomorrow

Just looked at the wife's schedule, the 8th or the 15th of December might work, what about you? Maybe even the 1st if you think the wife goin would be alright. Not sure?

The wife is going to be at a conference in Seattle until the 5th. So after that is possible. I still need to see when my finals are.

I will run the 8th and 15th by her and see what goes.

Send me your schedule when you get a chance. I want us to make a run to Asheville for a weekend. I'm thinking January or February.

So I finished the plug welds on the sleeves, just have to weld the ends. Next will be the c gussets. After that its ready to set up the gears and install the e locker.

You going to crank up the heat when you weld to the cast knuckles?

I heard it helps.

Are the sleeves suppose to stick out that far? I thought that you had to weld them flush?

Gussets look good by the way.

Yeah, there is a lip, that your supposed to align. It's no different than the seals that people install.
